Aaron Middleton is a senior executive with more than 24 years experience working in IM/IT. Over the past 19 years, he has specialized in health information management and technology. His experience spans roles in software development, business analysis, enterprise architecture, project management and strategy design.
Aaron has focused much of his health informatics career on establishing effective collaborations in software procurement, innovation, development and implementation, including both open source and closed source products. He has had the privilege of successfully engaging in a number of Canadian initiatives at the federal, provincial, and territorial levels, as well as for First Nations clients; providing his strategic support, advice and architectural services on numerous projects.
Most recently, Aaron delivered services to Manitoba eHealth as the lead architect during integration and implementation of the province-wide public health information system, Panorama, to regional health authorities, Manitoba Health and First Nations.
Aaron enjoys spending his spare time sailboat racing with his family, friends and the Ottawa River sailboat community. He both skippers and crews in fleet, long distance and regattas, and has won the C&C 27 Ontario Championships two years in a row.
On a corporate level, Aaron is responsible for business development, client, office and resource management for the Gevity Federal, Territories and Non-Governmental Organizations (FTN) Division. The FTN Division is also responsible for Gevity’s First Nations and Inuit clients.
