Joseph Wagner is an accomplished information services and healthcare management professional with over 30 years of experience. In his role as Vice President of Gevity US/East Division Joseph is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the US/East Division for Gevity. He is an active consultant as well as leading the division’s management team.
For the past ten years, Joseph has worked on significant, complex projects for some of the largest healthcare systems on the east coast of the US. Prior to this he was the CIO of one of the largest public health systems in the US.
Joseph is a HIMSS Fellow and volunteers his time extensively for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He is currently the Treasurer for the Central Florida Chapter and Co-Chair of the Integration and Health Information Exchange (HIE) Community Roundtable. He has led the creation of, as well as participated in, developing HIE white papers which can be reviewed on the HIMSS website at HIMSS.org. He also co-authored the HIMSS book, “The Handbook of Continuing Professional Development for the Health IT Profession” which was released in 2017.
Joseph earned his Master of Public Administration at the New York State University at Brockport and his BS in Computer Science at State University in Oswego. He also has an AAS degree in Optical Engineering.
