Based in New York City, Sebastien Roy is responsible for business development, strategic planning, solution development and general management of Gevity’s U.S. operations. In addition, Sebastien provides expert advice to clients on large-scale health technology investment programs, digital health product assessment and go-to-market strategy, and subject matter expertise in the following specialty domains: electronic health records, population health, health data interoperability, virtual care/ telehealth, and medical devices.
Prior to joining Gevity, Sebastien founded a biomedical engineering and telehealth consulting firm, SPR Consult, which he successfully managed and grew until it was acquired in 2014. Prior to that, he worked as a biomedical engineer and project manager at the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Center.
Sebastien holds a Master’s degree of Applied Science in Clinical Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, a Professional Engineer license in the province of Ontario, and several industry-recognized certifications.
