Yoel Robens-Paradise is based in Vancouver, where he leads Gevity’s BC practice.
Yoel is a proven health care leader who supports clients with strategic transformational projects. He is frequently called upon for his business experience in information management and his collaborative approach that unites diverse professionals and organizations into high-functioning teams. Yoel has over 25 years of health care experience in Canada and the US, most recently as VP Digital Health at Providence Health Care (PHC) leading a shared service portfolio of health information management and biomedical engineering services comprising 1,700 staff at 36 sites across four large BC Health Authorities. Yoel also co-sponsored the Clinical and System Transformation EHR Project ($840M) and has recently led projects for NGO’s and Health Authorities on large business plans ($100M), service needs assessments, service consolidation, information governance, command centres and health information exchange. His senior experience, working in matrixed complex organizations successfully leveraging technology to support thousands of care providers across BC buttress his consulting services.
Yoel has facilitated numerous conferences and is an invited speaker on many topics including HIM, IOT, Cyber Security, Data Quality, and Health System Transformation. He volunteers as a board director for a non-profit summer camp and the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). Yoel earned his Master of Public Administration in health administration from Columbia University in New York City.
